Empower The Girl Child, Advance The Nation

Every Nigerian girl deserves a fair shot at the life she wants.

Girl Child Care Advancement Initiative (GCCAI) helps girls get past the financial, social and cultural barriers that keep them from school, safety, leadership and opportunity.

What we believe

Girls are not a project. They are people with plans.

We start with the girl: what she wants, what is in her way, and what she already has. Then we work on the barriers, from school costs to the silence around violence, so she has more say over her own future.

Girls are not only future mothers, workers or leaders. They have rights and ideas now.

We are rebuilding GCCAI

In October 2026 we restarted the organisation. We are redesigning our programmes, listening to girls, schools and communities, and building the systems to run them well. We want people who care about girls to build it with us.
